Free eBook: Developing AutoCAD Drawing System

cad_book

I’ve been writing about creating AutoCAD drawing system in several posts. I also posts about features that can boost your AutoCAD productivity. And then I think I need to compile them in an e-book. It’s too long to be a post. It’s not a complete tutorial, it’s simply a guide. I just want to share what I think can be useful to AutoCAD users. No, I don’t ask a price for it, you can download it for free.

You can download the eBook here on 4Shared. Or download directly from CAD Notes server.

Thank you to Fit Jerk for the box shot rendering!

Abstract

AutoCAD has been used for decades. Many AutoCAD users still use AutoCAD as a replacement for manual drafting. In recent AutoCAD version, you can do more. You can add intelligent to objects in your drawing. You can also share the data to work to work together in your company. Collaboration.

There are many new features added in AutoCAD. Combining them all and create a drawing system will maximize team collaboration and ensure standard drawings.

Drawing in AutoCAD is not just about how fast you finish it. It is also, about how easy we can modify it during the design process. In addition, how we can make use of the data. We can also create some automation. We can use fields for title blocks. Also creating schedule using data extraction for example.

I hope this e-book can be useful for you who interested in developing drawing system for AutoCAD. Set your standard, workflow, and use the system! Then you will be more productive.

If you are interested in implementing CAD Management (not just for AutoCAD)  in your company, You should read this book by Robert Green: Expert CAD Management, the Complete Guide.
