I want “Mastering AutoCAD 2013″, with this book i can teach AutoCAD to my friend in my University. AutoCAD is great application, especially in my Program Study “Mechanical Engineer”. My lecture use Wiley book for his teaching, even i read, its GREAT, all i need there is in that book. That book are : Introduction Fluid Mechanic from Fox & Mc Donald and Control System Engieering from Nise. Thanks alot if i win this quote.

I would choose Jimmy Bermarks SSMPropEditor, because it’s a great tool for anyone who makes extensive use of the sheet set manager :)

  • Nathan Bee

My first pick of the bunch woul be Mastering AutoCAD 2013.
I consider myself fairly proficient at CAD but haven’t had time to invest in picking up the skills that can take me to the next level. Moreso for 2013 as we haven’t implemented that in our office yet, so to be on step ahead of others with its new features would be even better.

  • Plessey Mathews

I like Paul above would love to have SSMProp Editor because of the flexibility it gives with Sheet sets that have been “broken” . By broken I mean the sheets have been move from their original location on the server and now the only way to fix the paths is to remake the sheet sets. SSMProp editor makes this rather tedious jobs simple and for CAD jockeys who deal with nightmares like this pretty frequently it is a boon.

  • Plessey Mathews

This is my second entry and like the first one a product from Scandinavia – DWG Columns. Jimmy Bergmark who makes this in fact has given a free version of the product and I use it every day in Windows Explorer to see which format of Autocad the DWG file is made/saved in. The full version will show all the file properties including custom properties. For example if we have a revision number attribute block inside the drawing this can easily be displayed in Internet explorer using DWG Columns. There are quite a few uses for CAD team members and leaders especially for doing QC work before plotting. In summary it enables a lite version of document management by making DWG meta data visible without the overhead of opening in Autocad.

I would choose Mastering AutoCAD 2013 and AutoCAD LT 2013 from WILEY,

from beginner user until advanced user.

  • Leigh Zee

I would choose Mastering Autocad 2013 and Autocad 2013 LT,
Because knowing basic autocad is not enough. We need continuous study of what we are doing in our work. especially the ones that we mostly use.
this will be very helpful since I’m not yet proficient in using Autocad.
I have so much more to learn in drafting and also in the Software that i use every work day.

  • John Zerda

i would choose autocad civil3d cause we dont have any resources in traing in our country… and my job is related to environment … so i choose it

  • Peanut25

The more I learn about AutoCad, the more I learn I do not know. I would choose the Mastering AutoCAD 2013 and AutoCAD LT 2013 book as while I have been using AutoCad since 2009 (starting with version 2008 and recently upgrading from 2011 to 2013) I do not know much about creating custom linetypes, arrays, how to properly use dynamic blocks or how to write lisp programs/scripts. Hopefully this book would help me to further develop my skill set.

  • Breeze104

    I choose
Mastering AutoCAD 2013 and AutoCAD LT 2013. The reason for my decision is because it has been 16yrs since I have had any instruction with ACAD and my job requires that I use it daily but it is all basic stuff and I know that there are things I could be automating to make things easier but since my company up to this point doesn’t see the need for keeping my skills up-to-date, this will help me greatly to find out what it is that I have been missing over the past several yrs.

  • http://www.facebook.com/paul.cushion.5 Paul Cushion

I choose Mastering AutoCAD 2013 and AutoCAD LT 2013. My reason is I am a recent convert from CoCreate’s ME10 and I am looking to better myself through using AutoCAD-LT. The company I work for is transitioning from ME10 to AutoCAD-LT and having this book would be extremely beneficial.

  • Neal

At First’ll choose the Learning AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013 – Video Training. And Why.? • pcelicamaja

My first choice would be Mastering AutoCAD 2013 and AutoCAD LT 2013 – I am proficient in AutoCAD up to the version 2008, but I have not been in touch with the latest improvements. I am a big “fan” of AutoCAD and simply love its creative possibilities, being an unemployed architectural engineer with great affinity for computer aided design, both 2d and 3d. In addition to great tips on CAD Notes, this would really help get back on track!

  • pcelicamaja

As I mentioned in my previous entry, I would really like to make my AutoCAD skills more current. Another tool to achieve that would most certainly be Learning AutoCAD 2013 – video training – as far as its description is concerned, it promises a lot of useful lessons, with the comfort and the power of the almighty video – picture is usually better than words. Thanks in advance!
