Project Falcon for AutoCAD is now available

air simulation analysis for AutoCAD

If you ever need to simulate airflow around your design, then you will like Project Falcon. It’s a free technology preview from Autodesk, available on Autodesk labs.

It’s very easy to use, enables you to quickly understand airflow behavior for your design. It’s already available as standalone program for Windows and Mac. Now it’s available in Inventor, Revit and AutoCAD.

It’s actually make sense, because now AutoCAD provides tools for conceptual design. So you can create your design concept and analyze the airflow within AutoCAD.

You can try the standalone version too. The downside is you need to export it to STL (or other popular format) before you can import it to Project Falcon. If you use Project Falcon for AutoCAD, the airflow will be updated as soon as you add other solid objects.

Download Project Falcon here. Remember, it’s free as a technology preview. Autodesk may not provide it as free tool when it’s graduated from the labs.

AVAILABILITY

  • The Project Falcon standalone technology preview will operate until March 15, 2013.
  • The Project Falcon for Inventor, Project Falcon for Revit, and Project Falcon for AutoCAD technology previews will operate until August 30, 2013.

What are you waiting for? Download it now!
