Emmanuel,
CAD system implementation is a never ending process. You may need to use other CAD system, you may need to use other standards, or other adjustment as necessary. Trust me, your company will not use only AutoCAD or the same standards in the next couple years. That's what a CAD manager is for, right? If it's a one time job, then there will be no CAD manager :)
If you are interested in exploring about CAD Manager, you should try Mark Kiker blog: http://www.caddmanager.com/CMB/
He has a good experience in this area.

hi edwin, i got a big question for you... I need to present a report to my boss in the company, about the neediness of a CAD Manager or a guy who handles all the things related to AutoCAD... obviously me XD

i've been looking for some kind of "user's testimony" about how good is use all the tools that AutoCAD provides. there is something like that? some kind of statics about it? or maybe you can tell me your own experience... how fast your job has become? in a 25%, 15%?

what about the teamworks? how affect all that sheet set management, centralize tools and resources, enterprise cui, etc.

how long will take me do it? i mean create templates, dst files, centralize all the system tools (tool palettes, cui, profiles, etc.) dynamic blocks to extract data, etc, etc.

i'll be waiting your advice dude

best regards

Emmanuel,
For 5 computer, you need 5 licenses of AutoCAD... unless your users don't use it 9-5 daily, you can consider using network licenses. For example, if you buy 3 licenses, you can install in 5 PC, but only 3 AutoCAD can run at the same time (concurrently).
Using standard is depends on your company or the company you guys work with. There are several standards, ISO is one of them, but you need to read the manuals to know more.

Emmanuel,
There is no other tool you can use to modify multi lines except the MLEDIT tools. Unless you explode them first... Sorry

HI! it's me again :)

have you ever use MULTILINES? well, i'm using it right now and it's great to structural schematics, but i have a big question, do you know if it's possible to use FILLET command with Multilines?? that would be amazing to do rails, for instance.

i supposed that you can create that curve adding vertex (mledit) but the thing is, work with radius. Well, if you know how to do that, please show me.

best regards!

you know what i did about sheet revision number?, in the sheet properties, i wrote revision number twice, in the "Sheet revision number" and "sheet description"... so when i insert the shee list table, i add the "sheet description" as "Revision" and it's done!

it's the only way that i found to do it, at least you can change the "Revision" in the same window
